About Us
Seaview Baptist Church is a vibrant beacon of hope located in Bayview, just outside of Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. Established in 2005 by the passionate Pastoral Couple, Peter and Janine Cornelius, it began in the warmth of a member’s home. As the congregation flourished, the church moved to a house on Watussi Drive and then to a tent in Seafarer , showcasing its resilience and dynamic growth.
In 2019, Rev Ashley and Pastor Chantal Lengeveldt took on leadership, guiding the community towards a brighter future. The following year, the church received the incredible blessing of land to construct a permanent worship facility.
